What I realized is that in order for this to be true, we must live repetitiously. Day in and day out living in obedience to the Father and His direction. Often I find myself doing things I frankly do not want to do. Not because I have any other pressing matter, I just don't want to do it. Flat out. No reason, just would rather "loaf" around. Usually because it's a mundane, repetitious function of my day. As all people, I like a little variety from time to time. Who doesn't want to shake it up once in awhile?
After the inner battle though, I usually end up doing whatever it is I've committed myself to do. Praying God just give me the strength to endure said situation. Here's the part you're all going to smile and shake your head in agreement with. As soon as I get to doing whatever it may be, something awesome happens. I meet someone, receive a revelation, my whole day and it's purpose becomes clear. Then I'm thanking Him, singing hosanna in the highest. Can you dig it?
It's at times like this....this verse in Romans come to mind. At times like these I truly realize that all things work together. The good and the bad, the enjoyable and the "Lawd, why I gots to do this?" Amen. It's Friday, you might be feeling that way about the daily hustle and bustle today. Be encouraged, somewhere in that daily humdrum is a divine blessing meant to keep you in His will. To keep you fulfilling His purpose. That co-worker that works your last nerve, that child who doesn't want to go to school because it's Friday, the guy who cut you off in traffic and he shouldn't even be in the HOV lane. I know y'all.......I know. Yet, I'm assured it's working for the good. Because I know I LOVE GOD, I KNOW I'M CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE; and so should you. LOVE YA, LOVE YA, LOVE YA!
